Turkey: industrial production up 2.7% in June, says TurkStat

Turkey's industrial production index rose by 2.7% in June 2012 over the same month of last year asd Anatolia news agency reports. Turkish statistics authority, TurkStat, released on Wednesday the industrial production index figures for June 2012. Accordingly, in the sub sectors of industry; mining sector increased 4.2% while manufacturing sector index was up by 1.8%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased 9.2%. Schedule adjusted production index in June 2012 increased 2.7% compared to June 2011, and seasonal and schedule adjusted industrial production index was down 2% compared to the previous month.
