Economy: Turkey's sectoral confidence indices down

Sectoral confidence indices in Turkey have decreased in October compared to the previous month. According to a monthly survey conducted by Turkey Statistical Institute (TUIK), service sector confidence index decreased 2.1%, retail trade sector confidence index went down 8.8% and construction sector confidence index decreased 7.1% in October compared to September. Service sector confidence index recorded 103, retail trade sector confidence index recorded 99.2 and construction sector confidence index recorded 79 in October.Sectoral confidence indices take price between 0-200. Index higher than 100 indicates optimism in the sector.
