Turkey: Consumer and producer prices indices down in June

Consumer and producer prices indices in Turkey dropped in June 2012, as Anatolia news agency reports. According to TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, consumer prices index dropped 0.90%, and producer prices index decreased 1.49% in June. When compared to June 2011, consumer prices index rose 8.87%, and producer prices index increased 6.44%. On 12-month basis, annual inflation was posted as 8.89% in consumer prices, and 10.24% in producer prices.
