Cooperation: Egyptian finance minister due to Turkey

Egypt's Minister of Finance Momtaz Saeed is going tomorrow, Friday, to Turkey to inform Turkish entrepreneurs about his country's investment projects such as electricity, health, sewerage system and potable water which would cost extra than 20 billion USD. Turkish Ambassador in Cairo Huseyin Avni Botsali came together with Finance Minister Saeed at the Economy Group ministers' meeting of Hisham Kandik's government on Thursday in Cairo.

Botsali told Anatolia news agency that they wished that Saeed's visit to Turkey would bring positive decisions over its economic cooperation and strategic partnership with Egypt. On the other side, Saeed said that they were expecting Turkish investments to rise in Egypt and added that they presented to Botsali 15 projects which cost extra than 20 billion USD including investments in the fields of electricity, health, sewerage system and potable water.

According to Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Industry's figures, Egyptian exports to Turkey in 2011 rose 50% to 1.4 billion USD compared to 2010. (
