Turkey, FDI flow dropped 8.8% in January-August

Foreign direct investments, or FDI, in Turkey dropped 8.8% between January and August in 2012 over the same period a year before , data showed. FDI flow in the first eight months decreased to 9.5 billion USD from 10.5 billion USD. Real estate purchases by foreign capital was up 10.2% to reach 1,563 million USD in the mentioned period from 1,418 million USD a year before as Anatolia news agency reports.
