Economy: Turkey's consumer price index down by 0.21% in May

Consumer price index in May 2012 in Turkey was down 0.21%, the country's statistics authority said Monday as reported by Anatolia news agency. Producer price index increased by 0.53% in May, TurkStat said. According to 2003-based consumer price index, CPI increased 8.28% and PPI increased by 8.06% in May 2012. According to 12-month average, annual inflation was 8.68% in CPI and 10.57% in PPI.
