CHINA, 2016/09/04 China's presidency of the Group of Twenty (G20)is timely given the wave of anti-globalization sweeping developed markets, an eminent economist has told Xinhua. APEC Ministerial Meeting eyes new measures to boost regional economy
RUSSIA, 2015/11/18 The Ministerial Conference of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) concluded here on Tuesday and adopted a joint statement eyeing new actions to boost economic increase in the region. According to the joint statement, the new moves aimed at continuing to chart a course for the region in the 21st century based on enhancing regional economic integration schedule, and fostering micro, small and medium enterprises' participation in regional and world markets. RUSSIA, 2014/05/23 Le forum économique international organisé tous les ans par la Russie à Saint-Pétersbourg a ouvert ses portes jeudi dans la morosité, en l'absence de plusieurs patrons occidentaux et alors que l'économie russe subit les sanctions liées à la crise ukrainienne. Cette année, près de 34 patrons de sociétés étrangères se sont rétractés et ne participent pas à cette grand-messe des affaires, selon la presse russe qui a comparé la liste initiale des participants avec la dernière version publiée sur le site officiel du forum. Parmi eux, les PDG des banques américaines Morgan Stanley et Citigroup, de l'avionneur Boeing ou du géant allemand Siemens. D'autres entreprises telles que le pétrolier ConocoPhillips, le géant de l'aluminium Alcoa ou le spécialiste des boissons sans alcool PepsiCo sont également absentes, certaines prétextant des "raisons de calendrier". -

It is presently time to broaden the APEC vision: Asia Pacific governments need to take additional responsibility for preserving the world environment needed for peace and prosperity in the coming decades. Looking ahead, the majority critical threats to the next of regional economies are world problems which will need world solutions. Asia Pacific governments need to take the lead in the G20 — most urgently to achieve a robust recovery from the 2008 world financial crisis. PM Manmohan Singh discusses greater economic ties with Japan, Australia

President Xi Jinping calls for closer G20 partnership to boost world economy
EUROPE, 2013/09/06 Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday urged Group of 20 (G20) members to build a closer partnership to shore up the world economy. For that purpose, the world's major economies should initial adopt a responsible macroeconomic policy, he said in a speech delivered at the eighth G20 summit in this Russian city.
