  • Households in Jordan to generate electricity

    JORDAN, 2014/01/04 The Jordan River Foundation (JRF) is planning to implement a series of projects in 2014 to help citizens generate electricity using solar energy, increase women's participation in the economy and empower young people. The JRF is planning to implement a project to distribute solar power generators to households across the country. "We discussed the project with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and got their support. We are in the process of looking for funds for the project," JRF Director General Ghaleb Qudah told The Jordan Times.

This is especially true in energy intensity, which saw negative increase rates in amount regions during 1981-2009, except for MENA.
