Trinidad and Tobago People Profile 2012
About 40 % of the population are blacks, another 40 % East Indians, and the rest of mixed or European ancestry. English is the main language. Christianity, represented mostly by the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches, is the principal religion. Among the East Indians, Hindus out-number Muslims.
