    SPAIN, 2014/11/09 Challenges in the Mediterranean energy sector and the need to create a regional energy community will be the focus on the initial Mediterranean Forum on Energy Regulation on November 26 in Barcelona. The organizer, MEDREG, is the only association representing independent public authorities in the electricity and gas sector in the Mediterranean. The forum aims to set up a shared regulatory body for electricity and gas for the 21 nations represented and will be an opportunity to tackle decisive issues for the energy policies in the sector- such as what the regulatory authority's role should be in the inter-dependent and interconnected regional market.     SPAIN, 2014/09/17 The Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mongi Hamdi, will attend an international conference on “stability and development in Libya and in North Africa”, scheduled for Wednesday in the Spanish capital, Madrid, according to a communiqué from the department. The communique, issued here Monday, said that the conference will be held within the framework of the interest of neighbouring nations and the region on the security and economic challenges facing Libya and their consequences on the stability and development of the nations of the region.
  • Valencia CVB: Upcoming international science and technology-based congresses

    SPAIN, 2014/09/12 Next the summer break, the Valencia Conference Centre has renewed its congress activities once again, with six international events to be held under the umbrella of OMICS Group International, an organiser of international events and scientific conferences across the world. These events will be taking place from 23rd - 26th September. The Valencia Conference Centre's schedule for the last four months of the year features a number of major international science and technology-based congresses of interest to both experts and the general public. The initial of these congresses is the 2nd International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia. The aim of this conference, which will get underway in a little while next World Alzheimer’s Day, is to create a forum in which researchers, academics, and scientists from around the world can share experiences and disseminate the results of the new research carried out into these neurodegenerative diseases. The conference will bring together leading international experts in the field, from Mayo Clinic (USA), and the universities of Wisconsin, Florida, Stanford (USA), Bologna (Italy), and Manchester (UK), part others.
