Roughly 3 million couples suffer from infertility in Iran
IRAQ, 2014/10/13 About 3 million of the total 15 million Iranian couples suffer from infertility in the country. Over 11 million young Iranians are as well estimate to miss the luck to childbearing due to increasing average level of the marriage age, local media reported. Iran's people is ageing rapidly. Over 70 % of Iran's people is people of 15 to 64 years, and about one third of Iranians are 25 to 40 years old with half of them unmarried, the statement said. Currently, the country's fertility rate stands at 1.8 %.
