    SWITZERLAND, 2014/06/02 It is an active summer, easily accessible with its extensive network of trains lifts and 670 ski lifts - this is the “Switzerland of views" presented by Switzerland Tourism. Part the new facilities of the hotel will be The Blue Boat, born from the redesign of the former Hotel Sorriso near the Hotel Villa Orselina, with management unchanged. And there will as well be the Acquarossa Family Spa Grand Hotel, a 4-star superior hotel in the valley of Blenio, which will use the thermal waters for the welfare of the whole family.
  • Verbier expensive ski resort in Switzerland

    SWITZERLAND, 2014/02/11 Verbier, a village located in the canton of Valais, is the majority expensive ski resort in Switzerland. That’s according to a recent survey conducted by TravelMag.com. The survey specifically compared all significant ski resorts in Europe based on their cost of lodging during the months of February and March 2014. During that two-month time period, skiers in Verbier will have to spend, on average, 236 Euros for the cheapest available double room, the survey found. While that figure is the highest average rate part all resorts in Switzerland, Verbier ranks only seventh most expensive in Europe. The majority expensive European ski destination is the Austrian Ischgl resort. Located in the national of Tyrol, Ischgl will cost skiers an average of 346 Euros for an overnight remain in the least expensive double room. The prestigious Val-d'Isere in the French Alps ranks second most expensive, with an average price tag of 326 Euros, according to the survey.
