  • Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba to develop multi-destination tourism packages

    CUBA, 2015/04/02 Trinidad and Tobago says it has signed a cooperation agreement with Cuba that will allow for the development of multi-destination tourism packages. A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here said that the agreement was signed in Havana by Tourism Minister Gerald Hadeed and his Cuban counterpart Manuel Marrero Cruz. It said the accord will allow for the exchange of professionals and specialists in scientific research to improve Trinidad and Tobago tourism product inclunding joint venture arrangements in the Cuban tourism industry.
  • The 24th Meeting of the ACS Special Committee on Sustainable Tourism

    TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO, 2013/07/22 The 24th Conference of the ACS Appropriate Committee on Sustainable Tourism was held in Port-of-Spain, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, July 16-17, 2013. Included in the high-level gathering were delegations from 16 ACS nations and representatives from the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The Chairman of the Appropriate Committee and President of the Martinique Tourism Authority, Honorable Mrs. Karine Roy-Camille, underscored that the ACS is an significant forum for the sharing and exchange of experiences in common areas of development for the sustainable economic and social development of the region’s nations and territories.
