  • FLEG summer camp brings together young foresters from 6 countries

    AZERBAIJAN, 2015/08/30 A summer camp will bring together young foresters from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine in Azerbaijan from 2-9 August in the framework of the EU-funded forestry programme FLEG II. The major goal of the camp is to foster cooperation and joint initiatives part the young foresters through meetings, excursions, field trips and research, inclunding leisure-time, according to Euro East.
  • Nibulon's agricultural product shipments by river soar

    UKRAINE, 2012/12/25 Nibulon (Mykolaiv), one of the largest producers and exporters of grains and oilseeds in Ukraine, increased agricultural product shipments by river by 62.5% compared to the previous navigation season, to 1.3 million tonnes, reads a posting on the official Web site of Nibulon. The report says that 62,640 tonnes of agricultural products were shipped from Pereyaslavsky branch (Kyiv region) and 53,920 tonnes from Kozatsky branch (Kherson region). Nibulon said that the companies were launched in July 2012. After the completion of the realization of an investment project on the comprehensive restoration of navigation on the Dnipro River and other rivers of Ukraine Nibulon plans to increase shipments to three million tonnes per year, reads the report.
