    UNITED STATES, 2015/11/26 A hacker who once advertised having access to user account data for websites like Facebook and Twitter has been linked through a Russian email address to the theft of a record 1.2 billion Internet credentials, the FBI said in court documents. That hacker, known as "mr.grey," was identified based on data from a cyber security firm that announced in August 2014 that it had determined an alleged Russian crime ring was responsible for stealing data from additional than 420,000 websites, the documents said. The papers, made public last week by a federal court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, provide a window into the Federal Bureau of Investigation's probe of what would all to the major collection of stolen user names and passwords.

The telecomunications ministers of the Balkan nations will sign the agreement in the Montenegrin coastal town of Budva during Infofest, which is dedicated to advancements in the world of informatics, organized by the Montenegrin Ministry of Telecomunications. Members of the region's regulatory agencies will meet in Macedonia over the coming days to discuss the modalities of the process to establish a "roaming free" zone in the Balkans.

    ROMANIA, 2012/12/07 The South African-based media conglomerate Naspers has paid 80 million US dollars for a majority stake in the Romanian site emag.ro, media reported. This is one of the largest transactions in the Romanian online sector so far. Emag.ro was launched 11 years ago and sells mainly electronics, IT and home appliances and music. The company posted a turnover of 145 million euro last year.
