    BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, 2016/09/24 Ahead of the conference in Moscow on Thursday evening, media in the mainly Serbian entity of Bosnia, Republika Srpska, RS, hailed it as clear sign of Russian support for the controversial referendum on the RS's National Day, which is set for Sunday. The conference produced only a brief statement from the Russian President. His office said the two leaders had "discussed the situation in the Balkans and various issues of bilateral cooperation. Views were exchanged on topical issues of the international schedule."
  • Bosnia Leaders Hail Breakthrough Deal On EU, IMF

    BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, 2016/09/01 Next almost a year of political quarrels, Bosniak and Bosnian Serb leaders on Sunday announced a major agreement on formation of an EU Coordinating Mechanism –a key condition for the continuation of the stalled EU accession process. With that agreement in place, Bosnia’s Prime Minister, Denis Zvizdic and the Federation entity premier, Fadil Novalic, as well signed the long delayed Letter of Intent for the IMF, paving the way for the new IMF program to be approved in the near next.

    BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, 2013/08/04 Bosnia's Trade Minister, Mirko Sarovic, said that 53 Croatian firms working in the meat production and processing business and in animal food production are no longer able to export to Bosnia. "The decision about the import shut-down is the logical sequence of circumstances arising from Croatia's admission into the European Union, because officials concluded that Croatian companies should be required to fulfill all EU conditions at the same time as exporting, just as Bosnia is required to do the same at the same time as exporting to Croatia," Sarovic said.

    BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, 2013/04/28 Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina signed a Protocol on economic cooperation in Belgrade on Tuesday. Transport, agriculture, food, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, energy, cross-border cooperation and environmental protection are priority fields for the promotion of economic ties between the two nations, the signatories, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic and Bosnian Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Minister Mirko Sarovic, said.
