  • Belgium green lights unchanged Ceta

    BELGIUM, 2016/10/31 Wallonia's parliament finally approved the set of documents, agreed by Belgian entities the day before, to allow the signature of Ceta, the EU-Canada free-trade transaction on Friday (28 October).
 The motion, giving Belgium's federal government the power to sign the transaction, was adopted by 58 votes to 5. Similar motions were as well adopted by the parliament of the Brussels region and the parliament of the French-speaking community. 
All 28 EU members are expected to approve the Belgian agreement through a written procedure that will last until late Friday evening. Once the signatures are sent from the 28 capitals the EU will be able to formally sign Ceta with Canada, at a summit on Sunday.
  • Azerbaijan-Belgium Business Forum held in Baku

    AZERBAIJAN, 2015/05/01 The Azerbaijan-Belgium Business Forum was held in Baku on April 30 as part of the visit of Pieter De Crem, the Belgian secretary of national for foreign trade in the country. Co-organized by Azpromo and the Azerbaijan Economy and Industry Ministry the event brought together some 40 Belgian companies engaged in various economic sectors in the country. Addressing the event, Sahil Babayev, the deputy of economy and industry minister said it is necessary to enhance cooperation in investment , industry, agriculture and other non-oil fields in between the two nations.
  • Georgia, Belgium to boost economic co-op

    BELGIUM, 2014/02/07 Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Belgium Didier Reynders during his visit to Brussels, the prime minister's press service reported. The sides discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the prospects of intensifying the trade-economic cooperation between the two nations and the process of Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic organizations. Particular attention was paid to the success completed in the field of intensifying the relations with the EU.
  • Large Belgian economic delegation visits Angola

    BELGIUM, 2013/10/24  A Belgian delegation, made up of 333 officials and businessmen, arrived Monday in Angola for a working visit, official sources said. According to the sources, the delegation, which included five ministers, is led by Princess Astrid. The sources said that the businessmen are active is sectors, ranging from logistic services to renewable energies, mining and the management of waste water.

CSB offers legal, corporate, financial and administrative services via its offices in Belgium, with a focus on clients looking to create and manage corporate strucrures in the country.

    BELGIUM, 2012/12/07 Franco-Belgian Dexia is in exclusive talks to sell its many management unit, as among of a plan to dispose its assets following aid received by the national. In November, France and Belgium jointly provided €5.5bn to the firm, taking almost full control of the group.
