    TURKMENISTAN, 2015/10/29 Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko held business negotiations in Ashgabaton October 29, a source close to the talks told Trend. Poroshenko arrived in Turkmenistan for an official visit on October 28. The relations between Turkmenistan and Ukraine are based on the centuries-old friendship between the peoples of the two nations and the cooperation in humanitarian and other spheres contributes to this, Turkmen Dovlet Khabarlary national news agency said. Large joint projects for developing the urban and transport infrastructure – construction of railway and road bridges through the River Amu Darya, drainage and communication tunnel in Ashgabat became the symbols of the mutually beneficial partnership.

    BULGARIA, 2015/08/26 A package of bilateral documents, which strengthen cooperation between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria, was signed in Ashgabat on August 25 following talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov. The signing ceremony was held in the one-on-one format in an expanded format with the participation of delegations of the two nations. Agreement on cooperation in the field of architecture and construction was signed between the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of Bulgaria.

    KAZAKHSTAN, 2014/10/09 The freight traffic between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan stood at 1.4 million metric tons in January-July 2014, Turkmen Ambassador to Kazakhstan Magtymguly Akmyradov said on October 9. "During this period, the freight traffic between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan amounted to 1.4 million metric tons, increasing by 42 % compared to the same period of the last year," he said. The ambassador said the increase in the freight traffic is due to the commissioning of the Kazakh-Turkmen section of the Uzen-Kyzylkaya-Bereket-Etrek railway in 2013.
