  • The AEC regime would integrate all ten country members of Southeast Asian politics and economy

    BRUNEI , 2015/09/30 Welcoming the commencement of regional integrated economy society of ASEAN Economic Community ( AEC) regime slated for later this year, an initiative to foster production capacity cooperation between ASEAN and China was sought to further expand economy and trade ties between the two economies. The thought to further explore the cooperation was highlighted in a high level forum discussing next relations of AEC and China in production capacity cooperation held here on Friday, attended by senior figures and stakeholders of the two economies.
  • Commerce Ministry slashes 2014 export target

    THAILAND, 2014/05/30 The Commerce Ministry has slashed its 2014 export target to only 3.5 % from 5 %, as the world economy faces a long and rocky road to recovery, particularly in China, which swallows up some 10 % of Thai shipments and is as well a major source of request for other nations' products. "The world economic recovery remains uncertain. In particular, the slowdown of China's economy has created a domino result on Thai shipments. This would affect Thailand's exports to a lot of nations, inclunding Asean, our single major overseas market," Permanent Secretary Srirat Rastapana said Thursday.

    MONGOLIA, 2013/04/29 Thailand will forge closer ties with Mongolia for trade, investment and service businesses during the visit to that country by Thailand's Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra this weekend. Commerce Minister Boonsong Teriyapirom said he would join the government team and private representatives in exchanging opinions with Mongolian officers and private enterprises for promoting trade increase. The three-day visit ends on Monday.
