Malta's merchandise trade deficit increased 2012-08-12
MALTA, 2012/08/12 Malta's merchandise trade deficit increased notably from last year in June, data from the National Statistics Office showed Friday. The trade deficit increased to EUR232.2 million in June from EUR73.1 million in the same month last year. Export of goods increased to EUR335.1 million in June from EUR295.5 million a year previously. Mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials, and miscellaneous manufactured articles accounted for the largest increase in shipments.
