Dutch Factory Output Falls In June

Dutch manufacturing production declined for the first time in months in June, a statement from Statistics Netherlands showed Tuesday.

Production fell 2.4 % year-on-year in June following a flat reading in May. In the second quarter, production declined 0.7 %.

Most notable declines were recorded in production of transport equipment, food, drinks and tobacco inclunding basic metal products, the statistical office said.

Manufacturing turnover dropped 2.7 % annually during the month, while orders rose 1.4 %.
