«Moroccan Agency For Solar Energy», in short “ MASEN “, a Joint Stock Company with a Board of Trustees and a Supervisory Board.
The company aims at implementing a program for the development of integrated electricity production projects from solar energy with a minimum total capacity of 2000 MW.

This project is a part of the large projects planned as following to the High Royal Orientations related to mobilization of the national renewable resources and the preservation of environment .


 Save 1 million TOE per year, corresponding to 500 million dollars  Annual CO2 emissions saving: 3,7 billion tons

  • REITs to drive commercial real estate growth in Morocco

    2016/06/11 The roll out of new investment vehicles is helping stoke growth in Morocco’s commercial real estate sector. Last year Morocco passed legislation allowing for the creation of real estate investment trusts (REITs). Under the law, REITs are required to invest at least 60% of their assets in real estate, while the remainder can be invested in other assets to help diversify their investment portfolio.   In early 2016 the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) joined forces with Moroccan retail distributor Label Vie Group by investing in its retail real estate subsidiary Vecteur LV (VLV). The aim of both the EBRD and Label Vie is to launch the country’s inaugural REIT and attract more investment in Morocco’s real estate sector. 
  • Morocco and China sign $1.54bn currency swap agreement

    2016/05/16 In a statement published on May 11, 2016, the Central Bank of China announced it has signed with its Moroccan counterpart a currency swap agreement valued at $1.54 billion. The agreement which was signed on the initial day of Moroccan kin Mohammed VI in China should extend over three years and facilitate bilateral trade between the two nations.
