Austria has wonderful transport facility . The country is famous for cars. The streets are excellent in Austria. Transportation through railways is very comfortable. Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck, Graz and Klagenfurt and Vienna have their own airports. These airports connect Austria and many other international cities. Transportation is also very comfortable by tube, tram and bus. There are cheap night buses which are better than taxi. There are many cycle lanes in the country.
Wien-Schwechat, Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz and Salzburg airports have daily internal flights. The city airport train travels directly from Wien Mitte . There are buses which run from Westbanhnhof railway station. The railway network runs on nearly 5700 km and covers the major national and international destinations. The tourist places can be well reached by bus. There are more than 2,800 scheduled routes .The taxi service is very wide spread. All the taxis have meters .For carrying luggage there is no additional charge. The taxi service from the airport is very useful. The only problem is that they have to be booked in advance. They have a fixed charge. As Austria is a mountainous country there are 3200 cable cars, chair lifts and T bars.
There are several ship services on the Danube route. There are cruise and excursion services available on the lakes. There are twelve bridges on the Danube which enhance the transport facility. Tram and bus network are very common in capital of the city which is Vienna. The tram network is the third largest in the world. The transport facility of Vienna is so advanced that it is possible to travel at any hours of the day.
