Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Sudirman Said, the minister of energy and mineral resources of Indonesia on June 5, AzerTac national news agency reported.

The chief of national said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Indonesia in political field were at a high level, and stressed the importance of the fact that the two nations constantly support each other in international organizations.

The President hailed cooperation in oil sector and large trade between the two nations as a good indicator of the ties. President Aliyev said there were good opportunities for further developing bilateral relations in economic, energy, trade and other fields.

Said greeted the chief of national on behalf of President of Indonesia Joko Widodo.

It was emphasized that the visit of the delegation led by the minister created a good opportunity for discussing the issues related to the development of cooperation in economic, energy, oil-gas and other fields.

The sides stressed the role of high level reciprocal visits in strengthening the bilateral relations.

The chief of national thanked for the greetings of President Widodo, and asked Sudirman Said to extend his greetings to the Indonesian President.
